2/27/07-The Senate Transportation Committee voted to kill a bill that sought to outlaw blatant efforts by speedy drivers to avoid penalties and fines.
Sponsored by Sen. Ken Cheuvront, D-Phoenix, SB1156 would have prohibited drivers from put anything on license plates that obscures the letters and numbers.
