3/22/07-A bill has died that would have slowed all traffic on certain roadways in the state.
Sponsored by Sen. Thomas Gaffey, D-Meriden, SB720 remained in committee at the deadline to advance, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have reduced the speed limit from 65 mph to 60 mph on rural interstates and other limited-access roads.
