2/5/07-Rep. Robert Gilligan, D-Wilmington, has introduced a bill that would generate more revenue for state's Transportation Trust Fund.
HB50 would increase the state's per-gallon tax on gas and diesel by 5 cents. Vehicle registration also would increase $30 while titling fees would rise 1.75 percent during the next two years.
