5/10/07-A bill has died that would have allowed certain truckers access to high-occupancy vehicle lanes.
Sponsored by Rep. Evan Jenne, D-Davie, HB141 remained in the House Energy Committee when the session ended, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have authorized any vehicle, including light-duty trucks, fueled by biodiesel or natural gas to use the special lanes.
An identical Senate bill - S200 - met a similar fate.
