4/3/07-A bill has died that would have authorized two or more county or municipal governments to plan transportation projects that cross county lines.
Sponsored by Rep. Chuck Martin, R-Alpharetta, HB434 remained in the House at the deadline to advance to the Senate, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill called for the work to be done with a 1 percent local option sales tax or up to a 10 percent local per-gallon fuel tax rate.
