3/12/07-A bill has died that sought to mark $60 million in interest from the Indiana Toll Road lease for use on local road and street work during the next two years.
HB1830 was diverted to the Senate Rules and Legislative Procedure Committee - essentially killing it for the year. The House previously approved it.
The money would have been routed from interest earned on a construction fund that was created when the state leased the Indiana Toll Road.

2/27/07-The House voted 51-48 to approve a bill that would mark $60 million in interest from the lease of the Indiana Toll Road for use on local road and street construction during the next two years.
