1/4/08-SB981 remained in the House Transportation Committee when the 2007 session closed. It can be brought back for consideration during the session that begins Jan. 9.

12/17/07-The Senate voted 21-15 to approve a bill that would send $5.25 million in state funds to the Mackinac Bridge Authority to help cover costs for bridge repairs.
Sponsored by Sen. Jason Allen, R-Traverse City, SB981 now heads to the House for further consideration. If approved there, it would move to Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s desk.
