6/6/07-A bill died that sought to flag sex offenders' driver's licenses.
HB224 remained in the Senate Judiciary Committee when the session ended, effectively killing it for the year. The House previously approved it.
The bill would have allowed a special code to be created to display on the front of offenders' licenses to identify them. It also would have required them to renew their licenses annually. Offenders who do not register as required would have had their driving privileges revoked.
