4/19/07-Gov. Ted Strickland has signed the state transportation budget bill that allots $7.8 billion for roads and bridges.
The two-year spending plan unanimously passed the Republican-led House and Senate. It takes effect July 1.
The bill – HB67 – also preserves funding for the State Highway Patrol.
