5/17/07-A bill has died that would have required approval from lawmakers before the Oregon Department of Transportation could initiate toll projects.
Sponsored by Rep. Kim Thatcher, R-Keizer, HB2518 remained in the House Transportation Committee at the deadline for bills to advance to the chamber floor, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have exempted the planned Newberg-Dundee Bypass.
