12/18/07-The House has put on hold until next year consideration of a bill that would void the transportation package approved this summer that includes a provision to toll Interstate 80 and provide $800 million annually for roads, bridges and transit in the state.
Sponsored by Rep. Scott Hutchinson, R-Venango, HB1878 remained in the House Transportation Committee when lawmakers started wrapping up the 2007 regular session. It can be brought back for consideration there during the session that begins Jan. 1.
