2/7/07-Gov. Ed Rendell presented his proposed state budget Tuesday, Feb. 6 - and funding it relies heavily on raising billions of dollars by leasing the Pennsylvania Turnpike to private investors.
According to the Scranton Times-Tribune, Rendell would also impose a tax of more than 6 percent on oil company operations to help pay for road and bridge work and mass transit.
