6/4/07-A bill has died that would have essentially negated cities’ authority to use cameras at intersections.
Sponsored by Rep. Carl Isett, R-Lubbock, HB55 would have blocked all city governments in the state from using cameras to nab red-light runners.
A similar Senate bill – SB195 – also died.
