2/7/07-A bill has died that would have required teens with learner's permits to spend more time practicing.
Sponsored by Delegate Matthew Lohr, R-Broadway, HB1655 remained in the House Transportation Committee at the deadline to advance to the chamber floor.
The bill would have increased the minimum practice time from 40 to 50 hours. At least 15 of those hours were required to be spent driving after sunset - up from the current 10 hours.
