2/7/07-A bill has died that was intended to reduce the likelihood of road rage.
Sponsored by Delegate Melanie Rapp, R-Yorktown, HB1933 remained in the House Courts of Justice Committee at the deadline to advance to the chamber floor.
The bill would have allowed law enforcement to ticket motorists for blocking traffic in the left lane. Failure to give way to an overtaking vehicle would result in at least a $250 fine.
