3/12/08-A bill has died that would have prohibited the state from partnering with foreign-owned businesses to operate toll roads.
Sponsored by Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Gilbert, HB2087 remained in committee at the deadline to advance to the chamber floor, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have required the corporate headquarters of private entities submitting proposals to operate toll roads be located in the United States.
