3/25/08-The Senate voted 15-13 to kill a bill that sought to require the Arizona Department of Transportation to develop a system for public-private partnerships.
Sponsored by Sen. Ron Gould, R- Lake Havasu City, SB1465 would have authorized ADOT to partner with private groups to plan, finance, build and maintain transportation projects.

2/28/08-A bill that appeared to be dead now is advancing in the Senate.
The Senate Transportation Committee voted Feb. 26 to approve a bill on a 4-1 vote that would require the Arizona Department of Transportation to develop a system for public-private partnerships.
Sponsored by Sen. Ron Gould, R- Lake Havasu City, SB1465 is headed to the Senate floor.

2/20/08-A bill failed to gain passage in the Senate Transportation Committee that would have required the Arizona Department of Transportation to develop a system for public-private partnerships.
Sponsored by Sen. Ron Gould, R- Lake Havasu City, SB1465 died on a 2-2 vote in committee, effectively killing it.
