10/3/08-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has vetoed a bill – SB1361 – that sought to require people found guilty of driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher to submit proof of installation of ignition interlocks in order to have their driving privileges reinstated.

8/28/08-A bill has been cleared to move to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desk that would require people found guilty of driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher to submit proof of installation of ignition interlocks in order to have their driving privileges reinstated.
Sponsored by Sen. Lou Correa, D-Santa Ana, is the sponsor of SB1361. For bill status, call (916) 651-4120.

8/13/08-The Assembly approved a bill that would require people found guilty of driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher to submit proof of installation of ignition interlocks in order to have their driving privileges reinstated.
Sponsored by Sen. Lou Correa, D-Santa Ana, SB1361 has been sent back to the Senate for final authorization before moving to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desk.

6/13/08-The Senate voted 38-1 to approve a bill that would require people found guilty of driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher to submit proof of installation of ignition interlocks in order to have their driving privileges reinstated. It has moved to the Assembly.
