5/16/08-Gov. Sonny Perdue signed a bill into law May 14 to boost transportation funding.
The new law, previously SB417, requires the Georgia Department of Transportation to develop and publish benchmarks and issue reports on projects with price tags exceeding $10 million.

4/14/08-A bill on its way to Gov. Sonny Perdue’s desk would boost transportation funding.
Sponsored by Senate Transportation Committee Chairman Jeff Mullis, R-Chickamauga, SB417 would require the Georgia Department of Transportation to develop and publish benchmarks and issue reports on projects with price tags exceeding $10 million.

3/5/08-The Senate approved a bill that would boost transportation funding. It now moves to the House.
