2/1/08-A bill has died that sought to ask voters on a statewide ballot whether Indiana should be on a single time zone.
Sponsored by Rep. Kreg Battles, D-Vincennes, HB1038 remained in the House Public Policy Committee at the deadline to advance from the chamber, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill also would have asked voters which time zone they want to be included.
The referendum would have been advisory only.
