6/23/08-A bill has died that sought to impose $500 fines on log trucks traveling on interstates when the height of the vehicle exceeds 13 feet, six inches.
Sponsored by Rep. Rosalind Jones, D-Monroe, HB1028 remained in the House Transportation, Highways and Public Works Committee at the deadline to advance from the chamber, effectively killing it for the year.
