Jennifer Granholm signed a bill into law – HB6414 – establishing regulations for the state or local governments to designate one or more lanes of a highway as a high-occupancy vehicle lane, of HOV lane, which could be reserved during certain periods for the exclusive use of buses and cars with at least two passengers and a driver.
11/21/08-The Senate voted 34-1 to approve a bill – HB6414 – that would establish regulations for the state or local governments to designate one or more lanes of a highway as a high-occupancy vehicle lane, of HOV lane, which could be reserved during certain periods for the exclusive use of buses and cars with at least two passengers and a driver. It has been sent back to the House for approval of changes before it can advance to the governor’s desk.
