Jennifer Granholm signed a bill into law – SB1462 – that establishes regulations for the state or local governments to designate one or more lanes of a highway as a high-occupancy vehicle lane, of HOV lane, which could be reserved during certain periods for the exclusive use of buses and cars with at least two passengers and a driver.
