12/31/08-A bill has died that was intended to further help protect consumers in the state from being gouged at the fuel pump.
Sponsored by Sen. Glenn Anderson, D-Westland, SB1505 would have broadened the ability of the attorney general and local prosecutors to investigate anti-competitive conduct by fuel retailers.
An identical bill – HB6249 – met the same fate.
