6/5/08-A bill has died that sought to authorize heavier vehicles on certain roadways.
Sponsored by Rep. Shannon Cooper, R-Clinton, HB2214 remained in the House Transportation Committee when the regular session ended.
The bill would have increased the total gross weight of vehicles allowed on non-interstate highways from 80,000 pounds to 85,500 pounds.
