HB1377 requires the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the state’s Department of Resources and Economic Development to make recommendations about construction, operation and maintenance of the facilities.
5/12/08-The Senate has approved a bill that addresses upkeep at highway rest areas and welcome centers.
Sponsored by Rep. James Cyr, D-Strafford, HB1377 would require the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the state’s Department of Resources and Economic Development to make recommendations about construction, operation and maintenance of the facilities.
The bill now moves to the governor’s desk. The House already approved it.

The bill is in the Senate Transportation and Interstate Cooperation Committee.
