6/30/08-The Senate unanimously approved a bill that would allow the state government or public transportation authorities to lease roads, bridges and more. It now moves to the House.
Sponsored by Sen. Roger Madigan, R-Bradford, SB1158 would exclude handing over the Turnpike, unless the Legislature approves it.
