3/3/08-A bill has died that sought to modify rules in the state for tolls.
HB405 remained in the House Transportation Committee at the deadline to advance to the chamber floor, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have prohibited enacting tolls along Interstate 64 between the state Route 143 interchange in Newport News and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel and Interstate 664 between I-64 and the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel.
