2/22/08-HB446 has been incorporated into another bill – HB433.
1/31/08-The House Transportation Committee approved a bill that would require the impoundment of motor vehicles for driving without an operator’s license.
Sponsored by Delegate Thomas Rust, R-Herndon, HB446 would provide that any adult convicted of two offenses of driving without an operator’s license would have their motor vehicle impounded for 30 days.
The bill has moved to the House Courts of Justice Committee.

1/7/08-Delegate Thomas Rust, R-Herndon, has filed a bill for consideration during the upcoming regular session that would require the impoundment of motor vehicles for driving without an operator’s license.
HB446 would provide that any adult convicted of two offenses of driving without an operator’s license would have their motor vehicle impounded for 30 days.
The bill is awaiting assignment to committee.
