2/22/08-HB63 has been incorporated into a similar bill – HB91.

1/11/08-A bill in the House Courts of Justice would allow stiffer penalties for people caught driving without a license.
Sponsored by Delegate Robert Marshall, R-Prince William, HB63 would mandate the forfeiture of the violator’s vehicle for two or more offenses within three years of driving without a valid operator’s license. If a person is found in violation while driving a vehicle he or she doesn’t own, the vehicle would be impounded for 30 days.
Fines for impoundment would be equivalent to the fair market value of the vehicle.
The bill is awaiting assignment to committee.
