2/26/08-A bill has died that sought to increase fines for speeding in trucks.
Sponsored by Rep. Dave Edwards, R-Douglas, HB156 failed to meet a deadline to advance, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have increased the fine for commercial vehicles found speeding 6 mph or more from $100 to $300.
