3/4/08-A bill has died that called for adopting split speed limits in the state.
Sponsored by Rep. Steve Harshman, R-Natrona, HB164 failed to meet a February deadline to advance from committee, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill sought to set the speed limit for large trucks at 65 mph on the state’s interstate highways. All other vehicles would have been permitted to continue to travel at the current 75 mph limit.
