6/11/09-The Senate Environmental Quality Committee voted 4-3 to kill a bill that would take a second look at a 2006 law to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Sponsored by Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, SB295 called for requiring the California Air Resources Board to reanalyze the costs associated with the three-year-old law intended to cut the state’s greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020.
