3/13/09-The Senate unanimously approved a $3.7 billion road construction bill.
The six-year road building budget now heads back to the House for approval of changes. Intended to jump-start stalled projects, the road and bridge plan would be funded in part through a mixture of state and federal funds.
HB330 had about $18.5 million in projects added to it in the Senate.

HB330 is a six-year road building budget that has about $3.7 billion of projects. Intended to jump-start stalled projects, the road and bridge plan would be funded in part through a mixture of state and federal funds.
The road funding bill has moved to the Senate Transportation Committee.
