4/1/09-A bill died that sought to require testing for driver’s licenses to be offered only in English.
Sponsored by Rep. Edward Butcher, R-Winifred, HB633 failed to advance prior to a committee deadline, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill applied the English requirement to all forms of driver’s licenses, including commercial driver’s licenses.
