OOIDA Call to Action - Ohio members

Dear Ohio Member:

If you happen to be planning to attend the Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky next week, I would like to borrow a few minutes of your time while you are there to talk about issues specific to Ohio and how we might work together better to address those issues.

If you have been a member for a while, you know we spent several years trying to get a uniform speed limit.  We’re ready to push for it again. Other issues never far from the table include increases on the turnpike and how to pay for improvements to the state’s roads.

The plan is to get together on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot at Papa John’s in the area where the OOIDA simulator is.

The meeting won’t last very long.  Hopefully, we can find ways to better coordinate our efforts in the State House to resolve more state issues to our liking.
