OOIDA Call to Action – Florida members
Florida truckers: Urgent action is needed to oppose a ridiculous effort to double motor vehicle registration fees. Call your lawmakers NOW. There are plans to include the fee hike in the state’s budget. FYI: it’s ALREADY $1,000 for an 80,000-pound truck. You need to weigh in on this, and time is short.

Split speed limits in Illinois going, too? It’s been a long battle, but we are ALMOST there.  So, grab your cell phones, Illinois truckers. It’s imperative to take time NOW to contact your state lawmakers and PUSH HOME uniform speed limits throughout the state. It’s also a good idea to make sure Gov. Pat Quinn hears you loud and clear.
