On Wednesday the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that includes a provision that will kill the Mexican trucking pilot program once and for all (section 136). That legislation, the “FY09 Omnibus Appropriations” bill, will be debated and likely passed by the Senate early next week and sent to the President to be signed into law by the end of next week.
