U.S. House and Senate conferees have yet to reach an agreement on a final version of the six-year highway bill that will go to the president for his signature and enactment into law, so it is very important you take the time to contact your elected officials and discuss the interstate tolling issue

On Tuesday, you received a call to action letting you know of plans by the Missouri Department of Transportation and some state lawmakers to convert Interstate 70 into a toll road. This proposal is a scaled down version of their earlier plan that included I-70, I-44 and bridges in St. Louis and Kansas City.

Today for the second day in a row, per barrel prices for oil reached $55. And as you know, diesel prices are at an all time high. No immediate relief is on the horizon in terms of lower oil prices. Prices could even go higher.
