Favorite Trucking Story or Moment:	Blizzard in Buffalo where the snow was up to the bottom of the truck doors. Strangers helped each other until we were all able to get “unstuck.”
What do you like about the industry?:	Being independent and being a farmer.
What do you dislike about the industry?:	The rude, inconsiderate and incapable drivers who are in the everyday spotlight of our industry and thus cast a blanket stigma on our industry.
What makes you successful as an owner-operator?:	My word and reputation, loyalty, problem solving and thinking ahead but remembering the past.
Why are you a member of OOIDA?:	My contribution to OOIDA would be my experience and knowledge. I have the ability to step in and make promote thought and appropriate decisions to help shape and promote OOIDA policies.
Anything else you would like to add?:	Having the extra time to serve on the board of directors of the National Hay Association.
