What type of load do you typically haul:	For 15 years I hauled new blanket wrap furniture but when foreign imitations started happening I changed to dedicated liquid bulk in the upper Midwest
Family information:	Married since 1983, three sons

Favorite Trucking Story or Moment:	There are so many it’s difficult to single one out!
What do you like about the industry?:	The diversity and open opportunity. There are so many different types of operations to succeed or fail in. The opportunities for success in a niche operation are endless.
What do you dislike about the industry?:	The petty thievery by DOT inspectors, brokers and some shippers and receivers. The control mongering by legislators and regulators.
What makes you successful as an owner-operator?:	Finding a niche market. Taking care of all the myriad of details. Keeping up with maintenance and delivering on promises made.
Why are you a member of OOIDA?:	Being a part of the solution to industry issues. I have an opinion and I express it to those that make a difference.
