The diversity and open opportunity. There are so many different types of operations to succeed or fail in. The opportunities for success in a niche operation are endless. |

do you dislike about the industry?: |
The petty thievery by DOT inspectors, brokers and some shippers and receivers. The control mongering by legislators and regulators. |

makes you successful as an owner-operator?: |
Finding a niche market. Taking care of all the myriad of details. Keeping up with maintenance and delivering on promises made. |
