Board Member Bio

Lesa Godwin

Lesa Godwin has been employed by OOIDA since 1990, working first as a truck insurance billing clerk, then moving on to executive assistant, and finally as manager of the Association’s HR dept.  Lesa is married to Todd Godwin and has three children – Tate Brendon and Kacey – and one grandson – Landon.  Her long involvement with the board and knowledge of Association issues make her an excellent choice.  Lesa is proud to have a career with OOIDA where she is dedicated to helping the Association in its mission to fight for the rights of professional truckers.

Lesa was elected as the alternate employee director in 2003 and was re-elected for a second term in 2006.  She became a full board member in 2007.
