To: OOIDA Members in Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District
This Saturday, February 2nd, Congressman Phil English will be traveling through Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District announcing his intention to run for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. Although this notice is not intended to be an endorsement of Congressman English, the Congressman has been helpful in his opposition to Act 44, and Pennsylvania’s application to the Federal Highway Administration to allow tolling on I-80. If you would like to go out and express your support for the Congressman’s efforts, and encourage him to continue to oppose continued action to toll I-80, below you will find a list of locations where the Congressman will be speaking. The Congressman will be accompanied by Pennsylvania State Representative Scott Hutchinson who has introduced House Bill 1878 to repeal Act 44. Below you will find details of the Congressman’s schedule, as well as recent testimony from Mike Joyce of the OOIDA Washington, DC office on I-80.
