Comments about the trucking industry

From the LLN Blog – One of the unintended side benefits to OOIDA’s Truckers for Troops effort is that soldiers across the two war zones – Iraq and Afghanistan – have learned about OOIDA and its mission to help truckers.

And, as we learned from this thank-you letter, many of those who distribute the goodies when they arrive are helping their fellow soldiers learn about this Association.

“Received your package from OOIDA this afternoon, and we opened it up at roll call.

The guys and gals were surprised when I read the letter, that complete strangers would do that for us.

I gave them a short rundown on what you folks did for the owner-operators in the trucking industry. Most had no idea that something like this existed.

In the next couple of weeks, we are going to get together for a group picture, and I will be sure I send one to you.

Once again, thanks for the “goodies” and we really appreciated it.
