U.S. Congressman Sam Graves to be featured on next “Live from Exit 24”

Wednesday, August 26, 11 a.m. – noon, Central time

The next episode of “Live From Exit 24” is scheduled for August 26 and will feature U.S Representative Sam Graves, R-Missouri, 6th District. Graves is the Ranking Member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Host Mike Matousek, OOIDA’s Manager of Government Affairs, encourages listeners to call during the show with questions for Rep. Graves about anything related to the role of Congress in highway funding, transportation and trucking.

As Ranking Member of House T&I, Graves is the top Republican on the committee which oversees all modes of transportation including the aviation system, highways and bridges, transit and rail transportation, pipelines, and maritime and waterborne transportation. He was born in

Tarkio, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he studied agriculture. He is a small businessman and sixth generation farmer.

OOIDA created “Live From Exit 24” to expand how the Association communicates with members and to take advantage of the opportunities the internet allows for live audio streaming.
