OOIDA Shop

The OOIDA scholarship fund was established in 1998 to help the children, grandchildren and legal dependents of dues-paying OOIDA members achieve their goals of furthering their education. Every year, five scholarships are given to high school seniors seeking to advance their education through college or trade school. Students’ scholarships can be renewed for up to four years.

The OOIDA Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, education and safety foundation, and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association. All contributions to the OOIDA Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible and help fund important programs that benefit our small business trucker members. Research on working conditions, training videos on safety related issues, and the scholarship program are just a few of the activities performed by the foundation.
